  7.     The GTYSID.BBS is the first screen that GT displays when callers log
  8.     on. It has no functional purpose apart from letting people know that
  9.     they have connected.
  10.  
  11.     Typically you put the name of the board here, and any other information
  12.     you want callers to see *before* they answer the ANSI question.

  14.     Some suggestions:
  15.  
  16.     a)  Keep it brief.  It delays incoming crashmail calls.
  17.  
  18.     b)  Do not include a MORE prompt, or so many lines that GT generates a
  19.         MORE prompt.  That disables crashmail altogether.
  20.  
  21.     c)  Sometimes, callers will not see this screen - it may get lost
  22.         during MNP handshakes.  So don't make this the sole source of
  23.         anything that callers *MUST* see.
  24.  
  25.     d)  Its not a good idea to use ANSI sequences (colour, cursor position
  26.         etc) in this screen.  Callers from non-ANSI terminals may be unable
  27.         to log on at all if you do.
